Author Visits

Tiffany loves visiting schools and libraries! Her highly interactive presentations are ideal for ages 3 through 9 but can be adapted for slightly older kids and even adults. Virtual visits are an option too.

Choose from:

❊ A performance of a selection of her poems, using puppets and props. This can also include one or more poetry creating activities.

❊ A presentation featuring one of her picture books that ties in with a theme, such as music (Tallulah Plays the Tuba) or life cycles/seasons (Tree Song).

❊ A presentation featuring both her poetry AND picture books.

❊ A presentation customized especially for you.

Tiffany also offers poetry creating and wordplay workshops for kids and adults.

In addition, Tiffany has experience speaking at conferences, such as Authorfest at the University of British Columbia and Serendipity, and appearing at festivals, including Coquitlam’s Kaleidoscope Festival of the Arts. She loves touring too!

For more information, including rates and availability, please contact Tiffany. She’ll get back to you as soon as she can.

❊ Testimonials

The kids’ pure and keen senses picked up on the beautiful details of Tiffany Stone’s books, such as sounds, relationships, and lessons imparted. It was so easy to connect to Tiffany and her books during her visit and link that to the things we think about and study at school (and in life!). I think that speaks to the accessibility of the concepts Tiffany presents and her nature in presenting. Also amazing is that Tiffany’s books will be so great for so many age groups. Hooray!

If you are looking for a wonderful author visit for your school, consider Tiffany Stone. She has a lovely, engaging and patient manner with the students. Her book, Tree Song, is very relevant with regards to our new outdoor classroom space and the new curriculum. I highly recommend her.

The children were very excited to meet a “real live poet” and Miss Stone did not disappoint. She was an animated performer and shared her work with passion and enthusiasm. The students were fully engaged from the moment she entered the room with her bag full of fantastic props.

The students and teachers were all very impressed with Tiffany Stone and the teachers used her presentation as a jumping board for poetry lessons in the classroom. Having a local poet was inspiring for students and made poetry come alive for them.
